What are the different types of human attraction?
Can someone please list/describe all the known types of human attraction there is? For example; my guess is physical, emotional, romantic and social. Does the existence of asexuals (people who don’t experience sexual attraction) mean that sexual attraction is different to physical attraction? Is there such a thing as “social attraction” which controls the type of people you want to socialise with? Do some people have more types of attraction than others?
There are three keys to human attraction. They are proximity, physical attractiveness, and similarity. These three things create attraction and bonding.
Proximity is geographic nearness. People are most likely to like those who live in the same neighborhood, who sit near eachother in class or work together in the same job. It is the availability of the person that makes us like them; constant exposure increases our liking.
Physical attractiveness increases interaction. People prefer being with attractive people; they perceive them as healthy, happier, sensitive, successful, and more socially skilled. Attractiveness varies from culture.
Last there must be slight similarities between two people in order to attract. People enjoy sharing similar attitudes, beliefs, and interests. It is said that opposites retract, and similarity breeds content.
I am slightly confused on your question but these three keys determine for everyone who would like who for any reason.

In The Realm Of The Senses (The Criterion Collection) [Blu-ray] $20.00 Nagisa Oshima’s sensational, 1976 film concerns a woman (Eiko Matsuda) whose obsessive sexual relationship with her husband (Tatsuya Fuji) crosses the line from passion into the territory of life and death. One of the most sexually explicit films ever to play in mainstream theaters (though it did run into legal trouble both in the U.S. and Japan), it has an air of palpable doom, suggesting that se… |
